3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3.3 Account Types
- Candidates: Job seekers applying for positions
- Recruiters: Hiring professionals managing job postings and applications
- Organizations: Companies using our platform for recruitment
4. AI-Powered Features
4.1 Consent to AI Processing
By using our Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the use of artificial intelligence technologies to:
- Analyze resumes and application materials
- Generate candidate-job compatibility scores
- Conduct AI-powered preliminary interviews
- Provide recommendations to recruiters
4.2 Limitations of AI
You understand that:
- AI-generated scores and recommendations are advisory only
- Final hiring decisions are made by human recruiters
- AI systems may have limitations and biases
- You may request human review of any AI-generated assessment
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in applications
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your qualifications
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- Scrape or harvest data from the Platform
- Post discriminatory or offensive content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LeapOne AI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as resumes and applications), but grant us a license to use, store, and process such content to provide our services.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
8. Third-Party Integrations and Google Services
LeapOne AI integrates with third-party services, including Google Calendar and Google Meet, to enable interview scheduling and video conferencing. By connecting your Google account, you authorize LeapOne AI to access and use your Google data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your use of Google services through LeapOne AI is also governed by Google's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. LeapOne AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You may revoke LeapOne AI's access to your Google account at any time through the Settings → Integrations page in the app, or by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:
- The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI recommendations will be accurate or suitable for your needs
- You will find employment through the Platform
- Candidates will be qualified for posted positions
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEAPONE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeapOne AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms.
